GolGohar Iron and Steel Development Company (GISDCO)

GolGohar Iron and Steel Development Company (GISDCO) has been established in GolGohar industrial zone, located 55 km from Sirjan in 2013, with the mission of producing 3.7 million tons of DRI by Midrex method and 3 million tons of steel by thin slab and hot sheet rolling method to produce a variety of high-quality and advanced-commercial grades of steel. GISDCO has been promoted as one of the most advanced iron and steel production company in the region by taking advantage of modern knowledge and technology.
Gohar and Kausar, are two mega-modules, were launched seriously and quickly as DRI production
projects, which is currently producing 3.55 million tons of hot and cold DRI annually and tobba mega-module has been producing since 2024.
GISDCO is an excellence-oriented company that is establishing significant and valuable projects such as the steelmaking and hot rolling plant production unit by taking advantage of the world's modern knowledge and technology and domestic power. And in thedirection of increasing the value of the steel production cycle and job creation, it has taken long and effective steps.
At the moment, GISDCO, as the largest manufacturer of DRI in the country and one of the top exporters in Iran, completes the production chain in GolGohar region and is on the path of creating lasting values for all stakeholders, and in the near future will achieve competitive steel yields, attract and directing funds and effective support of downstream industries.
