Morvarid Petrochemical Company, boasting a production capacity exceeding one million tons of products annually, stands as the country's largest Monoethylene Glycol manufacturer. The state-of-the-art complex, spanning a 20-hectare plot, comprises ethylene, ethylene glycol, and auxiliary service units. Initiated on April 25, 2006, the project reached its first production milestone within 46 months on February 23, 2010, and was officially inaugurated on July 27, 2010. Furthermore, the MEG unit, with a focus on fulfilling domestic demands and boosting foreign exchange earnings through exports, successfully produced high-quality products on January 3, 2016. The first product shipment was exported in February 2016, followed by an official inauguration on March 21, 2017. The auxiliary services unit, occupying an estimated 4-hectare area, encompasses auxiliary services, water intake units 1 and 2, as well as a steam production unit.
